1. Introduction

Welcome to ZanziEats, a food delivery platform operated by Zanzi Market (PTY) LTD. By accessing or using our website, mobile application, or services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms comply with South African consumer protection and e-commerce laws, including the Consumer Protection Act (CPA), Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECTA), and Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use ZanziEats services.
  • By registering, you confirm that the information provided is accurate and complete.

3. Services Provided

  • ZanziEats facilitates the ordering and delivery of food, groceries, and related products from participating restaurants and vendors.
  • We act as an intermediary between customers and vendors; responsibility for food preparation and quality rests with the vendor.

4. User Accounts

  • Users must create an account to place orders.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details.
  • ZanziEats reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for misuse, fraud, or violation of these terms.

5. Orders and Payments

  • All prices are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable.
  • Payment methods include debit/credit cards, EFT, and supported payment gateways.
  • Once an order is confirmed, cancellations may only be accepted within a limited timeframe, subject to vendor approval.

6. Delivery

  • Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to traffic, weather, or vendor preparation.
  • ZanziEats is not liable for delays beyond our reasonable control.
  • Customers must ensure accurate delivery addresses; failed deliveries due to incorrect details may incur additional charges.

7. Refunds and Returns

  • Refunds are processed in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act.
  • If food is incorrect, damaged, or unsafe, customers may request a refund or replacement.
  • Refund requests must be submitted within 24 hours of delivery.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

  • ZanziEats complies with POPIA to safeguard personal information.
  • Data collected is used for order processing, customer support, and service improvement.
  • Users may request access, correction, or deletion of their personal data.

9. Intellectual Property

  • All content, trademarks, and software on ZanziEats are owned by Zanzi Market (PTY) LTD.
  • Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution is prohibited.

10. Limitation of Liability

  • ZanziEats is not responsible for vendor errors, food quality, or health outcomes.
  • Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted under South African law.

11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be resolved in South African courts.

12. Amendments

ZanziEats may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
